head swap problem

Default head swap problem

my head on my d16y8 was warped so i swaped it out for another, i got it all back together but the car wont idle and isnt running right, i have to give it gas to keep it running and its running like almost 0 vac, only thing i can think of is the timing belt is a tooth off? need help ASAP thanks!

wow how hard is it to check the timing before you make this waste of space post

i checked it and it seems right, idk whats wrong, i pulled the spark plugs and there way rich

now i pulled the plugs and there is smoke coming out of the holes?

check the basics. map and tps plugs reversed? cam timing correct? ignition timing correct? vacum leak? Do it in that order.

i thinkkk i may have got it fixed... the timing seemd to b not right but now that we got it on the right teeth the belt went loose? im trying to get a ratchet on the tensioner but its so cramped and i cant get a ratchet around it sooooo im stuck right now

what i think happend was i had the came set to tdc while the crank was set to exhaust tdc instead of the compression stroke so the valves were opeing up oposite as they should, then i fixed it but it ended up being a couple teeth off, soooo now i THINK i have it right but the belt is too loose to try to start it.... so im messing with the tensioner at the moment but its not working out too well

dont know what to do now, retimed it and it prty close, maby only off by like half a tooth, everything is hooked up right i dont know what to do anymore
