94 Civic cx wont start
I have a 94 Civic Cx, which has spark, but wont crank over. I've changed the coil, cap & rotor, & spark plugs.
The starting issues would come and go over a few months and it seemed to be heat related, as I could walk away from the car and it would start the next day.
I've been told there is a control board somewhere under the dash that I could try and re-touch the solder, as a point fails over time. Something to do with fuel delivery control system.
If I keep trying to start the car, it starts to smell flooded, so I think my fuel pump is still ok.
Sound familiar to anyone?
Any advise would be great.

Well you are in the wrong section. The pgm main relay is around the steering column, it provides power to your fuel pump and ecm. If you do not hear fuel pump turning on, and relay is not clicking on under the dash when igniton is turned on, while the pump will work if you run 12 volts directly to it, then this would be the place to start checking. Switched output on older Hondas were yellow wires, not sure on your generation. Inexpensive to buy new, under $ 75 Canadian.
