Icon6 Rebuilding supercharged D16y8

3 years ago, I bought a 1996 civic hatch with a JRSC D16Y8. I think it's about time to fix it up a bit. My goals are to see the 180-200 WHP numbers. I plan to go with a rebuild of kamikaze 4-1 headers and maybe some head work (camshaft/cam gear). Also I want to keep the supercharger within the build to save money and since it's already there... If you have any suggestions, feel free to post. Thanks.

if you only want 200whp, then you wont need to turbo,

keep your jrsc.

i heard some people using this thing called an underdrive pulley for SC's idk what it is.

uprade your cams, new headers, port n polish, and get a good tune.

i think you should there

It ups the boost. And 200 will take some work on a SOHC.....But I am sure it can be done...Most JRSC SOHC's make bolt on b16 numbers,so keep that in mind. You will have your work cut out for you, thats for sure

the underdrive pulley just means the supercharger runs off a pulley and you can upgrade those to add more boost. You kno how much boost your running right now? and use kamikaze headers with a 3 or 2.5" exhaust. all u gotta do is add more boost
