I am doing a auto to manual conversion on my 97 accord and was wondering if a should stick with the regular axles or upgrade to prelude ones (i heard they fit), or is there another alternative that is stronger and yet inexpensive, but not cheap.

Do have O'reileys, checker or napa. I you have the option, get new axles, not reman units. Remanufactured axles are more apt to give you problems. I have new Napa axles on my car, daily driver, weekend dragstrip on slicks, 202 whp. Ive had them for 2 years now with no problems.
