do you need your ac bracket?
I have a 96 civic coupe with b18c turbo. I took all the ac parts out of my car. except the ac braket thing that looks like it mounts under my driver side motor mount. My question is do i need this still bolted on? is it holding any weight of the motor?
you don't need the tensioner from the piece, but it is an engine mount. I would use it. you might be able to find one with out A/C but its not worth the time.
^^ thanks i figured it was an engine mount because it bolts to the frame under the driver side wheel well but just wasnt sure because i thought i have seen cars without this. maybe i was mistaken?
Get a Type R one, its cast aluminum, which is much lighter and prettier...
with stock motor mounts i'd recommend using it. if you have some nice solid mounts you may not need it, though.
