Default 270 turbo bearing..

id like to know what boost is the max you would normally run on a journal bearing turbo thats running a 270 degree bearing..?

in particular the t3/t4 (standard shaft size)

what kind of boost are people running on 270 bearing turbo's and for how long?

thanks

what trim? And what kind of boost are you really looking at getting out of it. I ran 20 psi on my ebay 60-1 with no problems at all

1.2 bar = 17.4045285 pounds per square inch

so say 17PSI. not a massive amount of pressure really..

a friend of mine was saying how the 270's are crap and no good for over 13psi, which i find hard to believe..

yeah that's dumb. My car saw 30lbs with 270* thrust bearing plenty of times, and daily driven on 15lbs. Still works to this day.
