Tighten ALL of your grounds to begin with. If the problem doesn't go away, which experience tells me it should, report back.

Check your main (50amp) fuses in the under-hood fuse compartment. I've encountered such a problem before. It would be the first place I'd start looking

Here's a post concerning the ELD ---> http://www.civicforums.com/forums/21...-detector.html

That's for a Civic but shouldn't vary much from the Accord

Personally, I had never heard of an ELD prior to your post And I've been messing around with my Accord for 5+ years now.

I've never had an issue with it either. Perhaps it's time to break out the ol' V/O Meter.......

The Denso alternator which came with the car has an internal voltage regulator and interacts with the ECM (which acts as the Electrical Load Detector)
Check the following fuses: (with a test lamp)
Under Hood:
#15 = 80amp
#18 = 50amp
#33 = 15amp (non KH model alternator)
Under Dash:
#4 = 7.5amp
Both the white/red and the white/green wires go to the ECM
