My tranny has recently has seized up and is stuck in 4th gear. I am removing the tranny as we speak and all I have left to do is take out the passenger side axle. It will not budge. Is this because it is stuck in gear? I have no way of getting it out of 4th since it has seized up. I have tried after from pulling the $hit of it and prying it open, but nothing is working. Any ideas? I need help with asap as I am trying to have this thing dropped by tonite. Thanks

u dont have to pull of the whole axle to drop the trans... u can take it out with the axle still in it

 

or u can take the axle apart where it meets the tranny. and just put it back together later it pretty simple

 

I have to take the axle out because I am replacing this tranny with another one I have. I was thinking of just dropping it with it in but I figured it would be harder to get out. Dont you think?

 

with it out ull have abteer angle at it and more force..
