CV axle re-install
opk I feel like a douche- I'm trying to put my passenger side CV axlein- I tap it will it will not go any fruther but no power is being transmitted though the axle- how far should it go in?
The inner part of the axle just sits there and vibrates when the car is in gear..... any ideas? did I mess up the splines inside the tranny?

There is a snap ring on the axle when that ring is locked into the groove of the tranny then that means its all the way in. You should be able to pull on the axle and it should not pull out that means its locked in.
