Icon6 Crx Audio Harness

Sorry if there is another thread on this; but i'm having a hard time looking for a complete radio/stereo harness (dash harness?). Or do I have to wire it myself? I just got myself a EF without any wire for the audio, so any help would be great. Thanks

if i am understanding you correctly you are looking for an OEM style radio harness or are you looking for an ADAPTOR HARNESS for the crx. Have you tried you local Best Buy?

If you are installing an aftermarket HU in yourCRX and the stock radio harness plug has been cut off, it is best to just "hardwire" the aftermarket HU harness to the stock radio harness wiring, it will elliminate a lot of connections.

As mentioned, if you want a stock harness plug, get the Metra plug, but it is the 71-1720. 94

It seem like i dont have any wire for audio under my dash and was thinking i might have to run a power wire to the HU and have the speaker run straight from my amp, but if the wire is part of the dashboard harness, then i might as well get a set, make life a bit easlier. Someone told me that the audio wire is connected to the ECU harness, is this true?

The stock radio harness/plug is part of the dash harness, ECU/ECM wiring is included in that harness, the radio harness shares a commom 12V+ constant power with the ECU/ECM, [memory].

All Honda/Acura are prewired with a radio harness, [including all 4 speaker leads] the stock radio harness will branch out of the dash harness very close to where radio is mounted, if your radio harness has been "cut off" you could get the plug/pigtail and reconnect a stock plug, [once you find the cut stock radio harness].

As mentioned, I do not recomend that, I would just attatch the aftermarket HUs harness to the cut stock wiring. 94
