just got my 95 civic coupe
i just recently purchased my 95 civic coupe vtech. my previous 93 coupe (non vtech) was stolen in jersey. I am trying to figure out my engine (b16?). also any opinons on injen cold air intake, apexi n1, tein loweing springs.

1. It's VTEC not vtech.
2. Engine is a D16Z6
3. Those sound good. Consider a swap as well. Sometimes people like swaps for the long run.

as an owner of 95 civic coupe EX i say welcome. ive gone down the I/H/E route and well its fun at first then you find out for 800 bucks all you got was about 6 whp
so id say go FI or go for a swap. Thats my $.02. Tiens =

as an owner of 95 civic coupe EX i say welcome.
EX coupes (especially 95's) are notorious for being overweight.
If you plan on keeping the D16 your best bet would be Turbo. Lots of people are running great times on internally stock, boosted D16's.
If you are looking for some NA fun. Then swap out the D for a B series...

I got a 95 LS in my 94 EX.
I have Ice Man CAI and Apexi WS catback. I like how it feels.
It'd feel much better with boost or VTEC, but without $$, those aren't happening anytime soon.
