Default Buying a new car ---

Hello people,
I have about a good 22k and i was planning on buying a coupe civic, and will spoon it. Therefore i need to know what year and which model you think should get, i am thinking of the si 2010, or the 2000 civic ex. Rest of the money that will be left will go straight to the engine. Please be nice and thank you

There are not very many parts from Spoon for the coupe to my knowledge, so go with the ej instead of the fg.

If you get the 2010 Si, wouldn't you have no money left over?

True. But he would have a much better performer right out of the box.

He'd need at least $5k to bring the EX up to speed with the Si. Right there you're looking at $10k out the door.

Then if you want to talk about custom fabricating parts on the k-swap he'd throw in. Yikes.

agreed. if you're looking for performance and/or any major engine mods, the si is the model to start with. anything less is a waste of $.
