Well gentlemen, ive narrowed my choices down to two brands which will be going on my 95 civic coupe..

they are as follows:

P.I.C.

either with adjustable dampers or non adjustable (still debating on that)
& which spring rate im going to use
8/6
10/8
10/12
12/14
14/18

OR

Koni Yellow's with GC (Ground Control)

Anyone have them on their civics? what are the pro's and con's i gotta make a decision soon

keep in mind, car will be boosted.. and i know that when u go higher with the spring rate u sacrifice ride quality.. so im trying to get the best of both worlds..

your thoughts?

sorry i also forgot to mention that i will be changing my front and rear control arm bushings, front and rear shock bushings, front end links, steering rack bushings, transmission shifter stabilizer bushings (manual transmission only), ball joint boots and tie rod end boots, & rear trailing arm bushings all to poly
& some skunk2 LCA's

 

Koni Yellows with GC springs, thats the setup I use and love it.

Don't put the poly bushings on your ball joints, I've heard of people doing that and then getting contamination and then...failure.

i have never heard of anything like this before..

so since ive received zero feedback im assuming
people are loving the Koni with GC ?

 

pic is great yet so is koni and gc plus a lifetime warreny on the konis,
filp a coin.

if you do go pic i wouldnt go higher then 10k/8k on the street.

10/12k is pretty dang stiff. but the adjustable dampers could help out enough to make it berable.

good news is you could always change the springs for lower or higher rates.

 

You'll definitely want adjustable shocks, whether in a full coilover setup or Koni Yellows. I'm running Yellows with H&R Race springs and I love it to death. Great deal too.
