suspension question.
so i was wondering wats the difference between coilovers and fullcoilovers..i kinda know that full coilovers are the adjustbale springs and the shocks but on the coilovers can you use the stock shocks??
struts are the most important single piece of the entire suspension system.. stock struts have damping rates tuned to the stock springs, not to aftermarket sport springs. match your old struts to the coilover kit and I think your ride comfort is going to probably feel like crap. i would highly recommend using new struts even if you were not modifying the suspension as you will see significant handling improvements/ ride comfort.
^^ what he siad well not everything, i have skunk2 coilovers on my stock sturts and my car rides great, just a bit stiffer then stock, it all depends on the condition of the shock and the spring rate.
but full coilovers are most the times your best bet if you want a good ride, inless your replace shocks as well, ground controls and skunk2s and your the best coilover if you want to ride good, if you go no name or ebay, it will ride like **** and be bouncy.
depending on your budget slip on coilovers will do just fine, but you will want new shocks soon.
