i need some help
i have a 99 Ex for a daliy driver and i just want to lower it and put on some rims. This car is all stock and is going to stay that way, i've always used coilovers on my other car, but i want a better ride. I've heard that lowering springs ride better but i've never used them, i am looking for some suggestions on what kind of springs to go with. LMK

now are you looking to drop it for looks, better handling or a combination of the two? I'm guessing looks.

Pair a good shock combo with any spring and sleeve coilover and you'll have a good ride.

If he has used coilovers in the past and wants a better ride than a spring/sleeve setup is not really what he's looking for. Most any lowering springs are going to ride pretty well as long as they are progressive rate. You can spend anywhere from $100 to $300 on a set. Check out Eibach, Tein, Skunk2, etc.

i just want to lower it down on or just above some 15s, i dont want the tires to be tucked. And my budget is kinda tight

I have these springs on my 96 civic ex and I am very satisfied with the ride quality and the drop.

I personally have never had them, but from what I've heard about them (which is quite a lot, it seems a lot of people are going with them for basic drops (not drops for drag racing or autocross or anything)) they're good coilovers, easy ride + lowering nicely... I could have just heard a lot of bullshit from a lot of different people, but I doubt it, good luck in finding what u want.

i boght some tenzo lowering prings and they work really good... i think eibach are better though..

check ebay for lowering springs by brands like eibach, tein, megan or skunk2 you can find springs pretty cheap....

tein will get you around 2in skunk2 will drop 2in.
