91 crx HF. what tranny fluid to use?
Ok. I don't care what my book says about it. What have all you found out is the best tranny fuild to use? I have some 80W 90 gear lube here at my house, would it be ok to use that stuff? The book says use only sf or soem crap like that. what does all that mean? And what viscosity should I use??
Hey bud, it's Sunday. People are out doing ****. Don't get all uptight if nobody replies in 10 minutes. I use Honda MTF. You should use it to. Gear oil is too thick and will destroy your transmission.

i only use honda MTF, unless you do alot of racing (probably not likely with an HF) but you could use some Redline

Would deffintly recommend using Honda MTF (Manual Transmission Fluid). Though, books say to use 10w-30 motor oil (not synthetic), either will work. But I would deffinatly recommend the Honda fluid, there is a noticeable difference.
