so today i put in my new exaust system and decided to take the car out for a ride.

its got a N/A d15b and it hasnt been driven in at least a month.

so i got it into first and redlined it to see how hard i could get it to pull nd i heard a pop and i lost acceleration,
i shifted and i got nothing.
now i plumb outta luck with a car that runs but wont drive,

please note* i had the engine run and i shifted into gears.....i did not need to use the clutch to shift gears. the gears didnt catch and the tranny made a whining noise like when u grind gears.

did you check if your axle's are still on, maybe one of em came out. that happens a lot of times. check it and respond back.

i checked it out lilo and i saw both cotter pins under the hub looked fine and i pulled out the axle and the passenger side was a little wobbly but nothing that i thought was bad.

i think i gotta replace the clutch....cause i dont have to push the clutch in the shift...which is not good at all....but when i have the engine running and i shift higher and higher the engine whines like im grinding gears....idk if it is the clutch is blown but thats what some other people on club civic are saying.

the part where it goes into the tranny, not the hub. also, if you put it in gear and it doesn't go but hear's a grinding noise, then it's your clutch.

ok its fine at the tranny, but i can put it into gear but i dont need to use the clutch pedal to be depressed for it to shift.
