Default Need Help ASAP please

Ok, I got all but 2 of the bolts off to take out the strut/coilover assembly but the ones giving me trouble are the pinch bolt on the fork and the lower bolt on the fork...i got the nut off of that but the bolt won't come out. I thought maybe it screwed out but i turned and turned and it went no where but it still has alot of tension...is it supposed to just slid out? Any ideas?

You have to relieve the tension off of that bolt by pushing up and down on the lower control arm while pulling the bolt out. Or you can take a hammer and screwdriver and drive it out from the backside of the bolt, which is what I do most of the time, it is the easiest way.

Use a hammer and screwdriver on the lower bolt. Use WD40 if you aready haven't.

So it should just be sliding out then right?

Also, I need to remove the upper ball joint from the bar that's mounted to it. I've heard there's clips that hold them in and i've heard you can just knock them apart with a ball joint separater...which is it? thanks for your time and info!

Are you using a shop manual? If not, go buy one right now. It'll save you time from running to the computer, posting, and then waiting for us to help. All your answers can be found in a $13 book that's available at any auto parts store.
