how much for new ITR engine
i'm probably wrong because the person who told me this is a friend of mine but he bullshits a lot but he told me that car manufacturers had to make parts for every kind of car they've had available to the market in the last ten years???? so that if say a 95 civic si get a bolder dropped on it and needs a new sunroof it would be readily available. so if thats true, which i dont know if it is, wouldnt that include the engine too????
a friend of mines dad had a 98 camry he bought for 3g$ with 150k miles on it and jiffy lube forgot to put oil back in it when they did an oil change and they ended up having to get him a new engine from toyota.

yeah they still are in exsistence I believe, or they just tell people that work for Acura that they can get it for them and not for the outside people anymore, I dunno...

You can still get the ITR shortblocks from acura right?
I dont think they're too expensive, and then just bolt on a set of gs-r heads with a little porting with some good cams, and you'll be good to go.

dude, I use to have an old school 1980 toyota corolla lift back that I loved to death and when some old lady backed up on me she broke my right front corner lense. I went to all the jusnkyards here in socal , well most of them to be exact and didn't find the part. I finally tried toyota of torrance and 3 days later I got a brand new right front corner lense from them
this was 3 yrs ago , I was blown away cuz 19 yrs later they still had that particular part I need, just thought I'd share

I also asked question to my local acura dealer. They said they will have parts available for a number of years, but accessories is a different story. If no one buys the accessories, then they'll stop making them.
This was told to me by Mitch at Metro Acura. Montclair,CA

Parts must be supported for 10 years. That would include the engine. Now they may decide to "part it out" for more money, but it's definitely available.
