Willow Springs Int'l Raceway - k20 EG back on track!

more updates soon, will update with youtube in-car video of two sessions and more pics when done uploading.
car feels good again, undershocked though, still had to fight the front end from washing out. wore tire fairly fast to keep up, maintain grip on street tire while others were on r compound and slick and pass faster cars. swapped out spring rate for the track and did some sphericals throughout. turn 9 @ 120mph felt like all spring while fighting bumpsteer. new shock should help for smoother lines.

Yo! I haven't been up to much. Life's been kinda busy and seems like summer flew by. Haven't sold much as far as parts and have been trying to focus on putting together my Civic 1200. Hope all is well for you guys.

it was fast, thanks. passed every car i came up on except the only car that passed me was Charlie's Top Setup EG. He took it to Church before we went to the track and it put down 295whp and 225tq I believe. He was on R compounds and I was on street tire unlike mostout there. Late braking, trailbraking and lift is all i had to keep up and pass the cayman s, mustang cobra r, and sti's, evo, genesis etc...
definately had to fight with the car due to the shock and tire but all in all it was a blast. i'm still trying to get the in-car video of the two sessions i recorded.
btw, doernbecher dash today and tomorrow if anyone goes i'll be there and the next weekend is shifter karts.

tires were toyo proxes t1 - 15 in. wheel 215's
shocks, koni sport with 600 front and 800lb rear rates - shock couldn't keep up
willow springs is fast, front left tire take abuse from two sweeper. want to pass, that where you get your speed from the faster car but it kill tires from the push while accelerate.
car will be better and manageable on 225 888r and koni race 3011
*so tired of waiting for the koni race to get here.
have good day

Nice Frito, I love Willow too, but you passed a lot of good tracks on your way down there
Planning any local track days? I'm going to be doing the Team Continental day at PIR on 10/10/09. I can't wait to get out to ORP next season too!
