im having this problem with my DA..ok first what happend is i was driving and all of a sudden i came to a stop sign and my ride just turned off on me..i brought it home and all it would do is crank but not turn on..i recently had a mechanic come over and check it out..he said it was the distributor so what he did is he changed the module from a b20 distributor to my b18 distributor...before he changed the modules my distributor wasnt giving spark..after he swapped them it got spark but it was very small..and still wouldnt turn on..he then said it might be off timing but it wasnt..then he checked the engine compression and there was no engine compression coming from the plugs ..

1. IS there engine compression even if the car dont start?
2. Could the distributor have been the problem in the first place?

i just wanna know if theres a possibility it might be my distributor..
