Default help with finding the right bolt

this is so dumb.

on summit I can't seem to find the right rod bolts , I have SYSC/scat/eagle rods with the threads in the rod , I am currently using the 8740 12 point rod bolts on the rods but I overtorqued them so I am getting new ones however I cant figure out which ones I need the 1.6L ones on the site are the kind with a nut , mine just screw in , I found what I thought to be mine but they say 1.8L will they work?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ARP-208-6401/

I dont have a part number on my bolts , at least I dont think , all I saw was what looked like -.02 and the ARP 8740 on the bolt. any help is appreciated.

the 8740 chromoly bolts are the lowest grade ARP rod bolts part no. 208-6001 (tensile strength of 200 ksi) - the ones from Summit are the best ARP bolts part no. 208-6401 (tensile strength of 220 ksi and a lot higher fatigue life) - either will work - you really need to be tightening the bolts by measuring the stretch and not going by torque

thanks man , you get 2 gold stars lol

I know I should be measuring stretch but me has no guage. they are like 100 bux at sears although I am sure we might have one laying around at my dealership somewhere. thanks for answering my question!!!!!!

Also , on a side note before I head to HONDA , if I have a 76 mm bore and OEM HG is outta the question correct?
