94 prelude turns but doesnt start until many tries
I have a 94 prelude. This has happened to me for the second time. I drive somewhere and when starting up car again it wont start. It will turn over but the engine wont rotate. It takes me mnay tries until it actually starts. Sometimes it will turn then die out and shut off within a few seconds. In both cases it was really hot outside and happened to be driving around 50-60 mph. All other times it doesnt do this. What could be the reasoning?

Try this thread to which I posted some links on how to fix(resolder) and replace the main relay. Hope this helps you out b/c some of people on this site are not really into helping people these days...

Ok, i found out the problem was because there was no oil because i have a MAJOR oil leakage. I checked the oil a couple weeks ago, it was fine. My oil light or service engine light never came on. The leak is real bad.example- you can see the oil trails of the car driving down the road. My dad checked it out and its leaking by the head gasket. Any ides?
Hmm....I don't think it's the head gasket.
If it leaves a trail, then have your father look under the car and inspect the oil pan seal or the crankshaft or camshaft seals because chances are that you have some broken seals. I know this b/c I'm in the same dilemma, just not as bad as you so I don't have to worry much.
