Prelude Starting problem!

Default Prelude Starting problem!

sometimes i dun realize i didnt have the clutch all the way down when i try starting my car..it doesnt start...then i try again but this time pressing clutch all the way down..then my car wont start for like 5 minutes...it would jus keep cranking...does anyone know why?!??! thanks

any more info? it might be your main relay.. or even your fuel relay?

at what temperatures do you start it?

get a new main relay!
i dont know how to do this, but ive heard about this problem soooooooooo many times!
and its always been the main relay

i have a similar problem but it usually happens when the car stalls in 1st gear, i have to wait a few min before it starts again.

um.. sometimes my car does that....


just hold t he clutch in.. put it in First.... then let out the clutch......


Then put in the clutch and try tostart it again

Don't wan't to **** on your parade but, how can you be so sure about this when you have not even experienced this problem in the first place? If you can diagnos problems like this simply by reading HT, damn, i could use a guy like you in the shop...

It starts fine if you push the clutch in correct???

it doesnt start when i dont push in the clutch correct...then right after..i do push it in correct and try starting but the car wont start for like 5 minutes..it just keeps cranking...

Your absolutely right, and i shouldnt have said i guarantee thats the problem... But recently ive seen a lot of ppl having problems starting their car... my brother had that problem with his 91 SI, so i was thinkin maybe you have the same problem!
