Ok I am a little confused because I thought the EK was only the 96-00 hatchback but I see people saying their car is an EK and it's not a hatch, so I was wondering if someone could break down what all the letters mean? Im talking pretty much every civic.

 

ppl say 96-00 as an EK, when really an EK is the ek9 hatch, just like how ppl say EG as the 92-95 in general when the coupe and hatch isnt an EG (cept for EG6 sir)

just read 99% of the posts on here when I or someone else have corrected someone for calling their 6th gen coupe an EK, or 5th gen coupe an EG or taking it further and actually calling them EK9's and EG6's and the like. Then read the 10 posts after that of all the whiny wannabe's calling us idiots, for being correct.
