Default Seat-Belt Warrenty Issue

I know the seat belts on Hondas are covered under a life time warrenty. My question is what all IS covered under the warrenty. I took my civic into my local Honda dealership and they said that because seatbelts are a safety issue they're covered by a lifetime warrenty, but only the belts and retractors. My question is what good is a seatbelt or retractor if the track that automatically places the shoulder belt across the driver or passenger isn't working... wouldn't that create a safety issue with the seatbelt that Honda says they cover for the life of the car? Being it's inside the frame of the car, if it's NOT covered under warrenty anyone have any idea how much it is to get fixed since it is a matter of life and death if that seat belt is not functioning properly?

-Thanks

I had my buckles and retractors replaced for free a few years back.

you might try another dealer, its seems like the auto belts would be covered. call honda of north america and ask/complain to them.

Yeah those are both good, I actually had to pull the one for the passenger to keep the seatbelt sitting in the correct position so it laid on the passenger's shoulder. It's something to do with the track, but it goes down to let you out JUST fine, but doesn't go back up... is there a relay or regulator I could check?
