Default Intake Pipes.

Hello

I’m thinking about buying a CAI OR SRI system. I wanted to know what other people think about ebay pipes W/ name brand filters. Also not sure which I should go with CAI OR SRI any advice would be great.

1991 DX Sedan

Thanks

I dont really plan on driving through any big puddles. Yea, that is what I was thinking its only the pipe I would think the filter is what really makes the difference.

I's there a way to protect from hydrolocking. Lets say you go though a puddle and water spalshs on the intake filter can that cause hydrolocking or does it have to be submerged?

It is only for the time being I'm saving money up to do a swap.

I think I found one I'm going to go with.

Most intakes in the market don't fit DPFI cars by the way, unless they are meant for them.

Every brand name intake company that i know of do not make intakes for DPFI Civics.

Don't bother buying that, that's just pushing you back on buying the MPFI swap which is much more beneficial.

Once you do that, get an intake...

Hmmm

A MPFI swap how much & how hard would that be? What improves by doing the swap?

Thanks

Depends on where you get the parts from, took about a day for my brother and i.

HP/TQ, not by a lot but a lot more than an intake. (Id say about 10-15HP)
It's makes it way easier to do an engine swap, mini me swap later since. Which is required anyways to do either.

Plus you can get a name brand intake.
