which wideband 02 to get and how to install?
i was told to invest in a wide band 02 sensor and ive been looking and reading up on it. but still dont quite understand what its purpose would be for my car. also what brand should i get because i read that they die out after a while what would be a reliable one to get. i have the tack already but not the sensor the previous owner never got around to getting one. also how would you install the 02 sensor?
thanks
thanks
AEM UEGO Wideband... they run about $260 for the digital one here in Canada
Replace it with your o2 sensor (engine light will come on) in your header/exhaust or get a new bung welded in behind the o2.
The purpose is to tell you your Air/Fuel ratio. To tell if your running to lean or too rich. If your motor is close to stock dont waste your money, if your running cams/bigger injectors or anything major you should get a wideband.
