91 teg b16 im thinking its a fuel prob but any advice wound be appreciated car runs great at all rpm unless under load and only in vtec at full throttle starts to sputter repetedly almost like backfire

 

first...check spark

second....check fuel pressure

third...get back in here and post results

 

well this one is fixed fuel pressure was good spark was jumping a one inch gap so i pulled the cap again the terminals were corroded this is a new cap, kinda wierd so i cleaned them up and covered them with some dielectric grease now it runs great my tach is now accurate too thought it was just a bad tach
