Ok I got a b16a still obd0. When I drive it and it is below 3500 rpm it sounds and feels like it will load up with fuel and just bog down like it is flooded. I changed sparkplugs,wires,distri,cap and roater, and turned all the fuel settings on the vafc to stock. It is still doing it. It had a ls/vtec in it at one time. I took each plug wire off of the plugs one by one when the car was running and it did what it was suppose to do when you loose spark on a plug. I am still useing the same chiped ecu. Could that be the problem. Another thing is when I put a load on the motor it works great it only happens in normal day to day driveing. Any help would be great.

Any CEL? It sounds to me like its a timing issue. DO you have cam gears on it and what size injectors are you running?

Stock injectors. Timeing was good lastnight when we were looking at it.

check fuel pressure.

Do you have an AFPR? What fuel pressure is it at? When my fuel pressure was too high my car had lag.
