I looking for a charcoal canister for my 96 Del Sol S
Note: 92-95 civic d16 wont work, 96 civic d16 non-vtec will work! let me know

You sure 92-95 Civic and 93-95 del Sol D16 won't work? It looks just like the one on my car...

 

I am 90% sure. If you would, please verify this for me.

notice mine has a brown-ish tube coming out from the side and if you pay close attention, I have a thicker tube fitting on top

I just checked the Honda part numbers.

17300-S04-G31 is the part number

96-97 del Sol S, Si, and VTEC trim levels have the same part number, so all 96-97 del Sols have the same part number.

I checked all 92-00 Civics and all 93-97 del Sols and out of all of those, those are the only ones that have that number.


Hopefully that will help you in your search (since you can use 96-97 Si and VTEC ones too)


96-00 Civic ones looked exactly the same though in the diagram and might fit regardless of them being a different part number, i'm not sure. 92-95 Civic and 93-95 del Sol canisters were completely different though.
