Okai i have a 98 acura integra gs with the b18b1 motor in it and im doing an ls/vtec with the b18c1(p72) head and everything seems good to me like the vacuum lines and all and my buddy has the same set up but his runs really good and mine is idling at 2000 rpms for sum reason and im using the stock intake manifold and throttle body and im confused on wat the problem is would it be because im using an ls the stock b18b1 engine harness cuz i was told that it should work jus sum unimportant stuff were gonna be left out or am i suppose to use the gsr harness and its not my throttle cable i checked that too and i have a chipped ecu and hooked up the vtec really confused on wat the problem is please help

I would check the iacv, tps, and did you bleed coolant properly? If not that did you try adjust the idle screw. I would also check for vacuum leaks.

no...it would want to die from a bad head gasket.

spray brake cleaner around all of your vacuum lines and where the intake manifold connects to the head. does rpm change? if so, you've found the leak.

as a second check...look at the voltage outputs for the tps and make sure your iacv is working properly.

 

i guess the intake manifold gasket went out and the head gasket went out gonna see if it works hopefully

 

are you using gsr throttle cable and ecu? check for surges with brake cleaner. tps / iacv / bleed coolant / clean tb with brake cleaner. try those. good luck
