One of my buddies made his own transmission hand cuff







he is now working on a k series one!

I have one in my tranny, Miller is being sent one and one other local. Testing shouls start ver soon!

It normally eliminates 5th gear and holds the two transmission shafts to keep them from twisting and breaking gears on high hp cars.

thats sorta right...It keeps the shafts from seperating and breaking teeth off the gears

its been too long since ive been in a trany (wow that sounded bad!) does his design eliminate 5th also? is it possible to cuff the shafts and keep the final gear, or is there space for it?

unfortunately, its not. removing 5th allows the cuff the shorten the shafts, making it harder for the applied force to seperate them.
