Icon3 Header question for a Buddy Club Spec II exhaust?

I got a '00 Honda Civic CX, hatchback. I guy told me that I'm better off keeping my stock header and taking it to a muffler shop to make it fit my new exhaust, Buddy Club Spec II exhaust. He said somthing about since my car was a CX it had its sensors up on top so I would trip out my ECU runing only one, unless I add another O2 sensors hole. He also said that my exhaust ports on the motor were a bit bigger. And that my headers would do good with the new exhaust because they give more power in mid RPMs and that after market would not give me it till high RPMs, when I needed to shift! ... idk??? Any and all advice would help!
