I have a 02 Honda Si and took the battery out to clean it.Put it back and on my radio is says EROR! What wrong??

 

when you bought the car brand new, it should have given you a code that came in your glove box that has your radio code in it. pull off the neg terminal on the battery and put it back on and it will ask you for that radio code. if you don't have it, you will have to go visit your local dealership with your registration information to prove that you are the owner for that code.

yeah mine did the same thing after replacing the battery... just go to the dealership and they will have your code pulled up and your radio working in about 5 min! thats if you dont already have your radio code from when you bought the car....

 

search!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i went trough this exact same thing look up radio code and there is a whole topic on it you can pull the code from the radio and call the dealer and they will give it to you over the phone save time and money

 

your telling him to search after we already told him how to take care of it.. good timing.

well mine is on the right side of the glove box when you open it and i don't know if SI's have them they should though

 

if you still havent fixed the problem..call my work (800)999-1009 and we can get you your radio code..

 

lol yeah timimg is key.. i had the exact same thing happen to me and found the older topic that was very precise on how to diy thought it would help..but timimg was off lol
