Have 1997 Honda del Sol. Have radio code and used before and it worked. But this week battery died and I mistakenly enter my code for another one of my Honda. When I enter the correct code it does not work. I tried on several times and temporary disconnected battery to no avail. Wonder if radio has internal battery charge and if disconnecting battery for day will discharge this. and allow entry. Tried the hold 1&6 trick but did not work.

 

Problem solved, reread thru other posts. Kept radio on for an hour in auxiliary mode (code displaying on radio). Then code was accepted.
