Default Jdm B18c and USDM B18c , Something i found out today

So today while i was replacing my Timing belt i noticed that the lower TB cover on my jdm b18c was different from the one i had laying around which was a usdm one, Even the part number is different

usdm part # 11810-P72Y-A0

jdm part # 11811-P3F-0000

It looks like both have the upper right mount hole in the same spot, but the lower mount holes are in slightly different locations and the USDM one has a third hole.

Does that mean the blocks are cast differently? Have you checked to see if they compatable from one block to the other?

Obviously the gaskets are different. Must be hard to get one for the JDM cover, or even the cover itself.

jdm motors didnt come with a crank sensor like the usdm motors do. and like said above the usdm is proberly obd2.
