Default running rich and need help

ok well here is the issue... a friend of mine has an h22a4 and is running a p06 converted to a p28 vtec with a basemap tuned to that ecu... ecu is running on crome as of now. its an ob2 engine and the injectors size, i believe are 290cc; well one of his injectors just blew and now his motor is running on only 3 cylinders. could it be that the basemap was tuned for a high flow amount of air to run in causing the injectors to work over its 80% potential and thus blowing it out? any help here guys... no CEL's were thrown, at least not that i know of. oh yeah and his motor is idling pretty ackward.... so please any insight or feedback on this will help out

Crome isnt bad, you just got to know what your doing.

Could of just been the injector, Also your tuner could not know wtf he is doing.

As for basemap, Idk did it always run bad or when did it start?

well it hasnt been tuned for the h22a4 but it was tuned for the jdm h22a. so he figured it might have worked easily im guessing. i thought so too that it could be a bad injector.

the jdm h22 and h22a4 have different injectors. a jdm h22 map uses more gas because of the higher compression on it.

i know that thats why i said could it be that the h22 map caused more air to be pulled in causing the injectors to work overload thus blowing it??

You swapped motors and didnt retune? Well then, theres your problem. Azn Is pretty close to being right

Heres the USDM and JDM Compression ratio, Compare and decide.

Compression ratio:
10.0–10.6:1 (North America) This being H22a4
10.6–11.0:1 (Japan) This Being h22a JDM
