ef hatch,my cars motor is a d15b7, so at idle or when the clutch is not in there is a clicking rattleing noise coming from the tranny area, but when i push the clutch in the noise goes away. by any chance is this a throw out bearing going bad? my from wit a da integra has this same noise issue and we can't figure out what it could be. any ideas? thanks

ive been told its the throw out bearing, i replaced my clutch and throw out bearing and still have the sound

 

really? you still have the noise and after you fixed the throw out bearing it was still there?!?! damn im having a hard time tryin to figure this out. this cars just my daily and im tryin to keep it in good shape. will post video later

 

It is the input shat bearing. If it was the throw out bearing it would make the noise when you pressed the clutch in not when you release it. I have the same problem just have not made the attempt to tear apart the tranny. I dont know really. I have been driving on mine for about a month without fixing it. But with anything if there is a small problem now and you wait it can turn to a big problem later.
