Icon3 Keyless Entry Stopped Working!

My car stopped starting in a weird way. When i turned the ignition on, nothing turned on. I recharged the battery and it started. The next day my car died and nothing worked, my starter wouldn't turn over even with a jump. It ended getting towed to a shop. I have a new starter now but my keyless entry doesn't work. They didn't bother fixing it even though I told em'. I thought they were idiots anyway.

My battery is almost 3yo and puts out 12.6 volts.
My windows work
I checked all my fuses
I replaced my remote battery.

I need some advice. Ill be lookin up info in the mean time.

More info needed. Do the locks work through the door switches? Any other details? Do you have an aftermarket alarm system?

Is the transmitter battery good? Does the red LED illuminate when the button is pushed? Did you precisely follow the 99-00 transmitter programming instructions?

1. No luck. My power windows work but the locks don't. I took my car to an eshop and they said it could take about 3 hours worth of work to figure it out($300). They look intimidated too, lol. F that ****. Any advice

2. I noticed that some of the harnesses in the door panel have brown marks on them. I wonder if they're fried. I'll update

3. How do you check for a bad ground?

I eventually fixed the problem which was: corrosion comming from the positive battery terminal. I replaced both of the cables running from the + terminal. One went to the starter, the other went to the fuse box.
