Problem with starting car
So I sold my EK to my brother and he's been having problems recently when attempting to start the car. The battery was just replaced two months ago from Sears and they did a test to make sure that it wasn't the battery. They tightned the terminal cables that connect to the battery and said that was probably why it didn't start. I jumped the car twice and it worked right after I jumped it.
1. I checked to see if the amps were draining the battery after the car was turned off and the lights on the amps were off when the car was turned off.
2. I noticed that after the cranking sound when my brother tried to start the car that the radio and alarm were working fine. Therefore, I know it isn't the battery.
What is the problem? Starter??? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Re: Problem with starting car (SuperSlow)
James (igo4bmx) said the same thing. But if the grounds weren't connected then I wouldn't have been able to jump the car, right? Plus, why would the radio and alarm still work?

well, considering that you must connect the ground terminal to the frame of the opposite car when your jump it, I am not sure what you are talking about...
