Im driving my friends EG and it has a manual steering rack in it. As i press the gas lightly, just enough for the car to get out of its own way and it pulls right HAARRRDD. When this happens the steering wheel gets slack in it and the steering wheel wants to go left automatically. So of course I pull left to get the car to stay somewhat on course. What could this be???? Also the drivers side sounds like the suspension falling apart it just makes a bunch of screaching noises, only coming out of the driveway tho not while driving. Unless im going slow somewhere like a parking spot or something. The alignments been done already months ago but its just now started acting up. I jacked the car up and everything looks good and tight... EVERYTHING. What could be the cause of this.

 

it doesnt matter if the alignment got done months ago. he could have hit 400 potholes since then. and even though you did a visual check did you also move the wheel while it was suspended?? sounds like a tie rod.

 

I know the alignment could be messed up. I drove the car on the highway and down a regular road and it didnt go left or right on me until I give it alittle gas. I dont even have to hit boost before it does it. I know cars get torque steer but this isnt that. It feels like someones pulling the steering wheel on me lol. Its crazy. I just put the car back down on the ground and everything went fine for about 3 miles or so. Once again it has started to pull right. And the noises went away from the suspension too. Now I just get a knocking noise when I turn it left, standing still. It only does it in a certain area tho and when it wants to also. It sound like its coming from the steering rack right where it meets to the column.

 

if it is pulling you that hard then something sounds like it is binding. i would do a visual check again and try to move components. then go from there.
