I just got a 94 coupe with a b18a1 with a gsr trans and got a complete b16 head with the car with a gsr ecu i need to find the best ls vtec kit. I have heard about alot of oil burning issue's with the ls vtec and not lasting very long so i want to find the best kit since its my daily driver.
X2 don't use anything else
You shouldn't burn oil at all, I don't know where people keep hearing this....
The main bearings in the motor were never meant to spin at 8200rpm. If you don't do a complete proper build on this motor you can expect to have issues down the line. This is an awesome motor if built right.
Btw you will be running a similar setup to mine. Except pistons. I would reccomend building(or having built) the block up with new bearings and internals, maybe blueprint. It will ensure a long life on this project.
