hey i got a obd2-obd1 gsr swap in my civic using p72 obd1
i dont know how to wire knock sensor but i know where its located.
i have look at forums about how to wire to plug for ecu which i did that
i was wondering how they wire that to the knock sensor and which color are the wire(s) and how many wire(s) are there.
i basically got a 3-4ft wire and wire inside to firewall to plug for ecu on D3 but i dont know how to wire the wire to the knock sensor itself.
if anybody can help me that be great

you'll need a knock sensor plug with pig tails, that's the easiest. What civic do you have? I believe it's a two-prong plug.

 

If I remember right, there is a clip thingy that goes on the sensor. It doesn't get directly wire to the sensor. I have always had them omitted from my set-up.

yes there is a two prong plug that goes in the knock sensor though
TO VTECJUNKIE: so i have to cut that open and fine that wire and connected it to my existing wire from the ecu plug?
