Default Lumpy Idle/Cruising . Clean IAC?

Hi all. I have a '95 Civic ESI . Its the D16Z6 VTEC... UK Model.

It's got a fairly rough idle (around 1200rpm, floats around there).
Also when I'm driving its FINE. No problems apart from when I lift off the accelerator...say I'm cruising to a stop or just driving at 30mph in 4th gear at just a tap of accelerator...its is a bit lumpy you know? Just kind of kangaroo juice a bit or begging for some gas...

I was recommended to try cleaning the IAC ( or Idle Control Valve)....has anyone got any tips for me doing this? I have attached pics of the engine. I am mainly looking at curing the lumpy driving. Can I clean the IAC without removing it? I have attached the pic. I take it where the hose connects to the Carb, that is what i should take out and spray in?
Thanks guys...

The U.S. model also has a fast idle valve (FITV) on the throttle body. If the U.K. model does too, then first try cleaning the FITV.

To determine whether the fluctuating/hunting idle is caused by a faulty IACV or FITV, cover the port leading to either component with your finger when the engine is idling. The covered hole that stops the idle fluctuation identifies which component must be adjusted or cleaned.
