So I knew I was running rich, but not this bad....today soem gay bastard tried to impress his girlthing in his Sentra or something with a dumb *** body kit and monster rims with rubber bands on them...obvioulsy I downshifted and smoked his ***...but that's the problem- I really blew a black cloud of smoke on his car when I took off!

This richness started AFTER I swapped on the D16Y8 head but BEFORE the turbo. I'm now running 450CC injectors and the AFC hack, with my WOT settings at -45% and it's still SUPER rich. There must be a problem with my fuel pressure or something else...can the charcoal tank or anything else cause problems like this?

every damn car smokes..you shouldnt say your rich cause you smoke..strap your *** to a dyno with a wide ban, and try to tune out the afc as best as you can..

 

i got 12 hp and 20 ft/lbs of torque today...er...yesterday by leaning it out 6% on the dyno with my SAFC......try it out!

 

On the Dyno...hehe have a look at how rich it was.

Yeah, 10:1 is rich as HELL. You will want it to be in the high 11:1 or low 12:1 area.

 

Yeah, i think you should check out your fuel pressure, since that's more trim than alot of people run. Two other things...do you have a resistor box or resistors inline with the injectors (I have no idea how this would affect things, but it could). And, are you sure they're 450cc and not bigger? You don't have an FMU do you?
