I have done a decent amount of research for this and did not come up with a straight forward answer. Alot of use this harness and do some wiring but nothing as specific as i need

I have a 98 Civic DX 5spd (obd2 non vtec) and a obd1 b18c1 complete swap w/ p72 ecu, complete obd1 harness as well (the motor was obd2 originally but converted to obd1)

Now I have done a few swaps but nothing that has needed too much wiring. I understand what is needed to get everything bolted up and that I will need a obd2 to obd1 jumper harness. The thing that gets me is what harness i need to use and what wiring needs to be done to my specific car as far as re-wiring sensors like o2 and IAC also the wiring for vtec. I want to keep everything obd1.

So basically I am looking for as much help as possible, what pins on the ecu harness need to pre re-pinned tips on wiring for vtec and other sensors. I really want to make this work on what I have, i have read in other articles about buying a ex harness so you don't have to do as much wiring. I don't mind the wiring i just am not sure what all needs to be done.

well first off use ur stock obd2 engine harness that will make things much easier..match up all the plugs to the sensors on the motor and wutever sensors u have left like vtec, KS, IAB etc..use the plugs off ur obd1 harness and add them to your engine harness..u can blend them in by taking off the black wireing cover and running the extra wires back to the ecu plugs and taping them back up.

u shouldnt have to mess alot with the ecu plugs since u already have a jumper harness...find urself a obd1 p72 ecu pinout, trace the slots for the sensors u added to ur obd2 ecu plugs and add the wire there or u can jsut hack ur jumper harness if u want
