B16a Auto swap
yes and no. yes you can, but good luck it has been done, but they have never ran right.
you will have to cut/dent frame rail, do the wiring, and find a way to get the thing to shift right.
what year ej??

its a 1993 dx Hmotors said i woul dhave to bend the frame rails but i guess the auto p30 that comes with it has the trans controller already in it, he said there was no extra wiring from what i was told
hmm it will be a hell of alot easier to do this then in the 96-00 witch THEY wont fit w/out major modification
it has acuttly been done is those year cars, with out major modification..
the reason why i said the wiring will be different is because they way the civic auto tranny is controlled its totaly different then a integra... it may be easier if you pick up a auto integra harness.

Theres your answer. When it comes right down to it theres very little involved with an auto to manual swap on a '92 - '00 civic if you are already swapping the engine and tranny anyway, its basically just bolting stuff into place, the hardest part of it is that some of the bolts are in akward places. It is far, far easier than trying to keep the car an automatic.
Meh, clean straight rust free 5th gen civics are getting hard to come by with a 5 speed. Its sometimes easier and cheaper to just find a good automatic shell and swap it to a manual. I'd far sooner do an auto to manual swap then bodywork, others may think differently.
