K20Z3 Complete Swap - Good Deal?
There's a complete K20Z3 swap for sale for $3k and I was wondering if that is a good deal. Swap has 16k miles and is papered. Comes with the stock 6spd LSD tranny. This would be going into my EP, lmk guys and thanks!!
If you don't buy it, I will.
Yes, that's an excellent deal if everything is LEGIT as stated.
Does it come with proof of compression numbers and any type of start-up warranty/guarantee?

It is legit and everything. So here's the thing that bugs me, he bought it on ebay and it came with a 3 month start up guarantee He never installed it though because he wrecked the car he was going to put it in before he got a chance to swap it, therefore he can't really guarantee the motor is good. Can you do a compression test or a leak down test with the motor out? Sorry if that's a dumb question lol.
Can you find out who the original eBay seller is? I would try emailing them and give them the VIN, see if you can transfer the warranty. If it's a reputable seller, this shouldn't be a problem.
Post the same thing on K20a.org under the swaps section, they'll have better info.
