my vtec is not working need help
wassup i have a 89 civic sedan i had a lsv that i spun a rod bearing and ever since that i swap a b20 in and now my vtec is not working everything is wired correctly im pretty sure cause it was working everything is wired to the ecu i check my cel and it throws code 10 and 14, 10 being the idle air temp. 14 being the eacv..i have oil in my car with a vtec ecu thanks if anyone can help obd0 pr3 virgin ecu

Is your Intake Air Temp sensor connected? Check your wiring and also fix the eacv problem as well, then figuring out why VTEC is not engaging will be alot easier.
You can apply battery voltage to the solenoid, if you hear it click that will eliminate that as a problem...But as other said, need more info.
Is it off all the time or is intermittent? Is your water temp over 60 degrees celsius???

I've applied voltage to the solenoid and i hear it click, i believe my iat is not connected can someone correct me please that is the sensor on the manifold near the fuel rail right ? and yes my speedomitor works.hrmm i will try to fix the cels the eacv light has always been on never been able to fix it i think it has to do with a wiring problem
